REFLECT. RELATE.
REENERGIZE.

Reflect on the life you have been given.
Relate meaningfully to others at home and work.
Reenergize your calling.

"Just where you are—that's the place to start."

2024 THEME

IlluminatingChange_2024Theme_Lumunos.jpg

“Illuminating Change” is our 2024 program theme. Beyond the wonderful way that ‘illuminating’ and ‘Lumunos’ reflect off of each other, there are good reasons we have chosen this for our focus this year.

We believe that the transitions that occur in our lives are fertile ground worth tilling.  As you know from your own experience, change comes in many sizes and shapes—relationships beginning and ending; work transitions; societal movements and events; both welcomed changes and changes forced upon us.   Not to mention the way transitions in the lives of people near to us ripple out into our lives.

Whatever the external change is, there is usually a concurrent internal shift that happens too.  Some changes start on the outside and move in; others begin internally and then change our external behavior. Quite often we are more vulnerable when we are in a time of change.  Our protective shell thins, or at times is cracked wide open completely. Welcomed or not, it is a generative time. These times of transition are both illuminating and often benefit from further illumination.

So, check out our upcoming events page - and join us as we navigate the changes of our lives together

Organizational & Clinician Well-Being Services

In 2009 Lumunos began to focus on working with medical professionals – as we saw clinician friends struggle with the effects of growing stresses with many well on their way to burnout.

Lumunos also offers leadership training for workplaces looking to change their culture and build greater emotional intelligence, communication skills, and unity amongst their team. We'd love to work with you and your team, so please reach out if you are interested in learning more!

"I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude for the opportunities for growth and meaningful reflection afforded by the Physicians Colleagues program. The type of introspection and discussion amongst peers provided by the program does not come instinctually to me, and the fact that it has influenced my outlook on practice and life underscores the depth of the program. The program has encouraged me to think reflectively, and act proactively, regarding how I function as a physician, and more importantly, as a person. I returned from the retreat energized, which is perfect timing for when our family gratefully ushers in a new life."
