About The Event
Throughout the ages, river crossings have been important symbols of change, growth and transformation for men. While drawing from many traditions, this Lumunos Men's retreat will primarily use the story of Jacob in the Old Testament as he encounters a river crossing that transforms his life. Themes include: success and failure; leaving home; relationships with friends and family; and wrestling with God. On this retreat, you can expect:
- away time to disconnect and renew in a beautiful setting;
- meaningful conversation with other men from the Denver area who are engaging similar questions of self;
- a purposeful pause to gain perspective and realign priorities;
- a chance to grow and deepen your spiritual life; and
- a lot of laughter.
