Sharing Light for the Journey
|
Lumunos is on the front lines of new ministries in these ways:
• With people in job transition through our Make a Living, Have a Life small group conference call initiative begun in April 2009.
• With elders through our innovative small group program called Finding Common Ground for Successful Aging now in the pilot phase.
• With churches through a short affordable retreat called Light for Your Journey designed to help people serve and work from a clearer sense of God’s call.
• With Physicians through a program with faith-based hospitals to enable physicians to care for themselves and find JOY in their work once again as they seek to better serve their patients.
• With internet users through an expanding web library of Call Stories, a bi-weekly Blog on the subject of Call and monthly newsletters. And, finding new connections on Facebook.
• With Guatemalan villagers through our Guatemala Pilgrimage program, now in its eighth year to support education and enable economic self-sufficiency in the remote Guatemalan Highlands. |

Sharing Light for the Journey |
Moving Forward the Mission of Lumunos Building on the Foundation of Faith at Work |
|
Lumunos is boldly and prayerfully going forward with a plan to raise $350,000 over the next three years. We know that people are hungrier than ever for spiritual food that will nourish and grow inner resources and give them HOPE. At this time, the economic downturn has affected both our donors and our investments, leaving us faced with a major financial challenge. We feel called to raise this money because people turn to us for the resources they need to nurture hope and, in turn, to reach out with compassion to serve others. And so we turn to YOU.
• YOUR GIFT gives hope to others. • YOUR GIFT reaches out to new people. • YOUR GIFT means Lumunos can expand its programs and forge
ahead into new ways of offering retreats. • YOUR GIFT provides necessary funds to publish new resource
workbooks and program guides.
Thank you for your generosity! |
