Betsy Perry. Development Coordinator
In Betsy’s own words…
How does your work at Lumunos allow you to shine your light?
My work at Lumunos allows me to shine my light through fundraising which is about working with people and building relationships. It’s also about shining light as people’s stewardship and generosity brings light to the journey of others. In what ways do you contribute to Lumunos?
I contribute to Lumunos in every thing I do by being a team player. Building a solid and successful fundraising program that leads us into the future is my current goal. What's your favorite part of your job?
Two things: Past and Present… meeting people and listening to their Faith at Work/Lumunos stories; and Future… finding new ways to reach new people to share light for the journey! What past job has most prepared you for your work at Lumunos?
Building a Fundraising Program, leadership development, and strategic planning were part of my former position as the CEO of a retirement community—all of which prepared me very well for work with Lumunos. How do you live your call in the world?
Prayer, Bible study, yoga, and the support of family and community help me to live my call in the world which seems to be ever-evolving!When you are not working, what one thing lights up your world?
It’s hard to say one thing…so I’ll choose a continuum of the smiles of our grandchildren (the youngest 2 months old) to the smiles of my parents (89 and 90 years young) and every one in between!Education
